In the fall of 2005 our six lodging rooms went through a major remodel. We carpeted, painted and furnished each room with custom made beds, new bedding and unique decorations. Each room is stocked with an ample supply of towels, our coveted Orvis Hot Springs hooded bathrobes and bottled water to enhance your visit.

Lodging rooms are on the upper floor of the main building and smoking is only permitted in rooms #1 and #2. Our rooms offer a variety of bed sizes ranging from king to double (for more details click here). Please call for reservations and we'll find the right room for you.

To aid in your relaxation you will not find telephones or televisions in our rooms, but we do provide free high speed wireless internet (wi-fi) in the main building for those who need to keep in touch. We do not have a restaurant on site but each lodging room has a small refrigerator and you will find a community kitchen downstairs. There are many local restaurants 1 mile north in Ridgway or 8 miles south in Ouray. Local menus are available and our helpful staff is always ready to assist you with recommendations or reservations, or you can click here for links to local dining, activities and information.

There are 2 full baths upstairs exclusively for room guests. To start your day we have a self service coffee station upstairs starting at 7am. As a room guest please enjoy 24 hour access to the springs. We suggest enjoying the stars during quiet time (10pm-9am) or for the early riser -if you can pull yourself from our pillow topped beds- have a soak and watch the sunrise. Unfortunately pets are not allowed in rooms or the facility (other than Miss Beef the resident cat) and you must be at least 3 years old to stay in our rooms.

Registration for room guests is between 3 PM and 9 PM. Any room guest wishing to arrive early to soak may do so as early as 9 AM. Please notify the front desk that you are a room guest for that day and they will make arrangements for you. As a courtesy to other guests, you must register in person by 9 PM or have called for late check-in instructions to access the property.

Housekeeping for each room is done daily. Please be courteous and respectful of staff cleaning duties. Checkout time is 11 AM. Guests may stay and soak until 10 PM the day of checkout. Once you have checked out, you must use the downstairs facilities for the remainder of your stay. Pending availability, registration for additional nights must be made by 11 AM. Late check-out could incur additional charges.

Room Descriptions

Antique Room (Formally Room #1)
A taste of yesteryear furnished with an antique double bed, a corner table with 2 chairs, antique dresser, and a skylight. This is a smoking room and can accommodate a maximum of 3 people.

Americana Room (Formally Room #2)
Featuring an exquisitely beautiful handmade Amish carriage bed, this room is a tribute to our great country. You will find a queen sized bed, a corner table with 2 chairs, mountain views and a red, white, and blue décor. This is a smoking room and can accommodate a maximum of 3 people.

Iron Room (Formally Room #3)
This is a non-smoking room with 1 queen size and 1 double size bed made on the Orvis ranch out of iron. This room has a built in vanity and sink, a skylight, and a table with 3 chairs. Maximum 5 people.

Log Cabin Room (Formally Room #4)
The Log Cabin room has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed-- both are custom made out of hand-honed pine logs by Lakota Living Furniture of Montrose. With a custom built vanity with a sink and a table with 3 chairs, and mountain views. This room has a maximum occupancy of 5 people and is a non-smoking room.

Uncompahgre Room (Formally Room #5)
The Uncompahgre has always been one of our most popular rooms as it is a corner room overlooking our amazing grounds; the tongue and groove wood walls make it feel extra cozy. We’ve made it even better with a king size bed made in Mexico featuring an oversized leather headboard. Finishing off the room is a matching vanity and sink and a table with 2 chairs. This is a non-smoking room with a maximum capacity of 4 people.

Mt. Sneffel’s (Formally Room #6)
This large corner room with a view of the Mountains has also been a long time favorite. Here you will find a king size sleigh bed hand made by Lakota Living Furniture of Montrose. There is a hand made vanity with a sink and a table with 2 chairs. This is a non-smoking room with a maximum capacity of 4 people.
